WHEN YOU NEED ONE

• You changed a page's Page URL.
• You moved from an old website, and its pages had different addresses.
• You removed a page and want its visitors to land somewhere useful instead.

ADD A REDIRECT

• Open Redirects from the Main Menu and press ADD REDIRECT at the top right.
• Old Path: the old address after your domain, starting with a slash. For example /blog, not https://www.example.com/blog.
• Redirect To: where it should go now. For example /news.
• Press SAVE. Add one redirect for each old address.

EDIT, DELETE OR FIND ONE

• The list shows every OLD PATH and its REDIRECT TO. Use REDIRECT SEARCH to find one.
• Press EDIT on a row to change it, then SAVE.
• The bin button deletes a redirect. Only delete it once nothing links to the old address any more.

PERMANENT (301)

MOBLE's redirects are permanent, also called 301 redirects. They tell Google the page has moved for good, so over time the new address takes over the old page's place in search results.

CHECK IT WORKED

• Open the old address in a private browser window. It should land on the new page.
• If it doesn't, check that the Old Path matches the old link exactly and has no domain in it.
• If the old address still opens a page, a page is still using that address. Change that page's Page URL first.

To send one page straight to another website, use that page's Destination URL instead. Need help? Ask Mo on the Redirects screen.
