Hi, I'm Alice, I run a global online yoga studio, subscription model, instructors across multiple countries, members logging in from around the world.

Recently I kept hearing three names. OpenClaw. Claude Code. Claude Cowork. Hype was everywhere, on Social media. Podcasts. Founder groups, everyone was excited. Everyone was talking about AI Personal Assistants, AI Agents, and a new way that anyone, (even me), can work with AI, called 'Skills'. And I had no idea what any of it actually meant.

And this video is my Journey, how I worked it all out and so much more. How I got new AI Staff, all working together. How these changes in AI changed how I run my business, my Sales, my Support, and even how I manage my everyday life.

SCENE 2 — THREE TOOLS

What Are OpenClaw, Claude Code and Claude Cowork?

In Jan 2026, three tools changed the face of AI forever, and initially that created a lot of confusion. So let's clear up what they are.

Claude Cowork. Claude Cowork is a desktop assistant. You sit at your Mac, point it at a folder, give it a task, and it works inside that sandbox. Clean files. Build a spreadsheet. Update a slide deck. Tasks running. And, when you close your laptop, it stops.

Claude Code. Claude Code is powerful. It reads and writes files, searches the web, executes code, handles complex multi-step technical tasks. It builds projects, meaning older structures, context documentation, custom integrations, and ongoing technical maintenance.

OpenClaw. OpenClaw is different. OpenClaw is an always-on AI personal assistant. It connects to your calendar, CRM, email, booking systems, and payment platforms. It takes action without you babysitting it. It follows up on leads. Sends proposals. Updates records. It can still do complex tasks like code. And fixes things while you are asleep. Unlike Claude, which uses its own models, any models can be used with OpenClaw, free or paid, and we'll come on to that shortly.

In short. Cowork is your desktop helper. Claude Code is a technical build project. And, OpenClaw is your always-on assistant.

SCENE 3 — THE REAL PROBLEM

Why Do Most People Stall With OpenClaw?

For me, I didn't need another AI tool to experiment with. I needed to get things done. OpenClaw was the right choice for me. But there was a problem with OpenClaw. Almost everyone I spoke to who tried it seemed to stall. It felt way too technical. They heard the hype, they installed it. Played with it. Then, it sat there. This is because OpenClaw is a steep learning curve at first, but when you see it working for real, that's when the penny drops, and it gets easy.

So my real question wasn't which tool. It was how to set up my OpenClaw, so it delivered actual things that help my business. And that's where Moble came in.

The first thing Moble helped me understand was what to use OpenClaw for to get the most value.

They explained that I didn’t need a Mac Mini and I should use a VPS, but not a one click install a proper setup for business - more on that in a moment.
They explained that most people are looking at OpenClaw as a personal Assistant to help run their personal life and become more efficient. That’s ok, but that super basic stuff that anybody can do and that’s not where you get the immediate business value.

Then they explained that when it operates as a real team member in Sales or Support, that what really moved the needle in KPIs are ROI.

They said that I could see those in action and working as part of the proper OpenClaw installation for business. Then, the penny would drop, I understand how it worked and then I could set up the Personal Assistant for myself the way I want to use it.

I’ve actually seen people selling the Personal Assistants for over 5 thousand dollars which is just silly. There are marketplaces with all of these Skills for free.

Once I saw Agents working the Personal Assistant stuff would look after itself.

Ok so my next question for Moble was obviously what are'Skills'.
They explained that that was the most important question, because all the hype around Claude and OpenClaw was because they all used Skills, a new way of working with AI.

SCENE 4 — SKILLS

Ok so my next question for Moble was obviously what are'Skills'.
They explained that that was the most important question, because all the hype around Claude and OpenClaw was because they all used Skills, a new way of working with AI. Skills are granular, modular instructions. Instead of loading one giant block of instructions and hoping it remembers everything, you break intelligence into small, reusable instructions. Each Skill does one job well. That skill can be in text or in code, and it's granular, meaning it's easy to isolate and edit rather than editing one long prompt.

That matters for three reasons. 'Easier'. One Skill can be shared across multiple agents, meaning I can reuse them. 'Faster'. Because Skills are granular, not in one huge prompt where it's not always used, they are only called when needed. And 'Cheaper'. Because it is not loading everything all the time, it uses fewer tokens. Fewer tokens means lower cost.

So once I understood that, the next obvious question was, what types of Skills are there? There are five types of Skills.

ONE. Prompt Skills. How agents behave. Its tone. Its rules. How it approaches tasks like content writing.

TWO. Task Skills. How it performs practical jobs, researching, designing, summarising.

THREE. Integration Skills. How it connects to my systems, CRM, SMS, Slack, APIs.

FOUR. Automation Skills. Automations move your 'Prompt Skills', your 'Tasks', and 'Integrations' through a workflow. If you're familiar with workflows on Zapier, Make or n8n, you'll have used Webhooks to watch for changes. Well, in OpenClaw we have 'Crons'. And I'll explain more on that shortly. But this is when it all fell into place for me, so, I'll come back to this.

FIVE. Development Skills. This is Code. For parts of development projects, or operations. This is a bit out of my league, and for me this is best to be supported by the experts, just like how I'm supported by Moble.

SCENE 5 — VPS SETUP

You've heard the news about how Mac Minis sold out when OpenClaw was released. Well, Mac Minis are a brilliant option to install OpenClaw for home users, but not for business. If it restarts, goes offline, or loses the internet, your agent stops. For a live business handling leads and payments, that's risky. And what if you need it for more staff? Will you buy more Mac Minis?

A VPS is a Virtual Private Server, a private, isolated window that I login to from my computer, it's not accessing my computers folders, and it's running 24/7. There's no restarts. No downtime. No accessing my personal stuff. No dependency on my office or life.

Moble set up my VPS as part of their 'AI Plus' package. And this included an AI Sales Agent setup in the VPS. Skills loaded. Crons configured. Heartbeat running. And, with the Moble setup, unlike other 'one click' installs I've heard about, mine was set up for me, properly.

How Do You Control OpenClaw Safely?

Moble set up my browser so that my OpenClaw has a mouse to use. This was very cool for two reasons. One. I could see its mouse moving in the browser, see actions being taken, and in early conversations I could talk with it, guide it, and watch to make sure it made the right choices. I started off by controlling my OpenClaw with my voice, via Telegram, in plain language from my desktop or phone. I talked, it worked. And, when I could actually see its mouse moving in the browser, I could talk with it better, and I learned faster, this bridged the gap.

But Two. By giving it a point and click tool meant I didn't need to give any passwords. No passwords in command lines. No passwords in Telegram or Slack. I logged in for it. It could point and click. Now that's just smart. And that's what you get when professionals, who understand the edge cases, set it up for you. This is another reason, I'm so happy with my OpenClaw. Suddenly this wasn't just hype.

Next I heard that when many people first used OpenClaw it used up all their tokens quickly. So I asked Moble about how to set up cost effective models and this is what they said. Initially OpenClaw was set up for Claude Models. This then led to the whole Claude and 'Claw', legal battle thing that you may have heard about. Anthropic is the mastermind behind Skills and Claude. And they have three Claude models that are used for different things. Haiku for simple repetitive tasks. Sonnet four point 6 for content writing. Opus four point 6 for advanced reasoning. And each is more expensive so model selection matters.

Well when some people first set up their OpenClaw they were using the expensive models for simple things like Background Checks, when they should've used the simple models. You may have heard of some nightmare stories, where people's cards were getting drained by token spend. Wild!

And you may have heard that Anthropic took offence to OpenClaw using their name and logic. Hence the legal stuff. But, OpenClaw is model agnostic, and open source. So any models could be used with it, even free ones or low cost ones. In response, Anthropic tightened token rules meaning its Max Plan restricted unlimited use on some platforms, and OpenClaw was one of those platforms. I get it from Anthropic though, that's totally fair. Even though I'm not using Anthropic for OpenClaw, I still love them for other things.

But for me right now, it meant I could use OpenClaw, with the lowest cost, and even free models. This is when Moble introduced me to Kimi 2 point 5. This is a huge large language model, with one trillion parameters. And what's more, Kimi 2 point 5 is currently available for free, via Nvidia with a free API key. Moble configured it immediately. That's expertise you get when working with the experts.

As the politics between the big AIs continued to fight it out. Open AI, (ChatGPT) got involved and acquired the founder of OpenClaw. Then, they offered huge use of OpenClaw on their 20 dollar Plus plan. So with all this happening, Moble just focused on what was best for my business. Kimi 2.5 for heartbeat and background checks. And I have ChatGPT Plus, so they use that too, for some things.

Then came the part that blew my mind. In OpenClaw you can assign a model per agent. But Moble, behind the scenes, has a Skill which actually assigns a model per Skill. On my Moble AI Pro setup, which I'll come on to pricing shortly, Moble review my Skills at the end of month one and assign the right models to them. And the result? Lower cost. No unexpected caps. Premium intelligence only where it matters. Not just installation. It's AI Optimisation.

Ok. Now, here's how the Moble Platform works with OpenClaw. Moble is my business platform. It's my Website Builder, my Chatbot Builder. It's my free CRM. With my Contacts and Members, it handles my Sales Leads, Support Tickets and my Tasks. And Moble is different from other apps, because you don't pay by the seat, or by the number of contacts. And of course, if you are still paying additionally for all these apps, that's ok. Moble integrates with them.

But to be honest. You've no doubt seen all the SaaS Apps crashing on the stock market. The SaaS Pocalypse, I think they're calling it. That's because these apps charged by the seat. But with OpenClaw and Claude, you don't need to pay by the seat any more, because one AI can do it. So multi-seat pricing is gone, and it probably was a bit of a rip off anyway. With Moble, they price fairly, and they price for AI, so none of that's a problem.

OK, that's my little Moble pitch, let's get back to it!

OpenClaw runs on my VPS. I set it up on that VPS like a new Staff Member, with limited privileges. It has its own user account, inside Moble. It has its own user account, inside any other Apps. And, it has its own email address, in say Google, or 365. OpenClaw, is set up just like another member of staff. That is the best way to treat it. At least while you're a newbie.

SCENE 9 — NOW WHAT?

Ok cool. So now OpenClaw is set up, it's time for the single biggest question that people have: 'Now what?'

Well, Moble explained that the best way to learn OpenClaw was to see it in action, doing things in my real business. Moble offered me a setup with a Sales Agent, or a Support Agent, or both. I chose the Sales Agent. Where, Moble became the control panel for the Sales Agent. And, OpenClaw is my new AI worker. Moble makes it easy for me to use OpenClaw, it takes away the steep learning curve that most people experience. Then, when I understood how it works in Moble, I could expand quickly, and start using it for all other tasks in my business or personal life.

So let's now have a look at what it does in Moble. The first thing to understand about Moble is that they invented SPI Scoring. SPI Scoring is a neat way that AI and humans work together without talking. And it ties everything together with no fuss, in a way that works. SPI stands for Status, Priority, and Importance. SPI Scores are applied to the CRM leads, tickets and tasks. Status, is the stage in the Pipeline, Ticket Resolution, or Task. Priority, is the Urgency of which it needs attention. Importance, is the impact on my KPIs.

For example, on my website my beautiful human looking chatbots, talk with my customers. And 10 chatbots come out of the box. On your Moble sign up: add your logo or brand colours, and it builds a website theme. Add your website address, and it builds your chatbots. So, whether your Chatbots are for Sales Leads, Support Tickets or Project Tasks, the Chatbot will give each conversation, an SPI score and log it into the SPI Board for Leads, Tickets, and Tasks. So as soon as you sign up, you have very powerful tools.

So let's look at my Sales Agent and how it moves a lead through the Sales Pipeline. Here, my Sales Agent Chatbot has just captured a new lead on my website. And it instantly lands in the Sales Board with its colour coordinated SPI Scores.

Status 3, Discovery. A Meeting invite is sent to the customer.

Status 5. Proposal. A Proposal Page is sent via email or SMS.

Status 8. Contract. A Payment page is delivered.

Status 10. Sold. An onboarding page is launched, with an Onboarding Chatbot to guide my customers through their first experience.

So now you know that both Humans and my Chatbots can update SPI Scores. But how are emails and SMSs sent? Is this secure? And, how is this Automated?

Well, in what now feels like the old days, you might have heard of AI Automations, in Zapier or n8n. Well, OpenClaw can now do those workflows for you rather than n8n or Zapier. With that said, on Moble, there are lots of free n8n workflow templates, you can simply download them and use them. And back in 2025 Moble, built a Claude Code App that generates n8n workflows automatically. So n8n Workflows can still be used and still have value for some things. However, now with OpenClaw, we don't really need those workflows as much, because your new AI team member can now do that for you. With AI, you are constantly saving on all these apps.

So how then, can you set up these OpenClaw workflows in a way that makes sense? Well, remember how I said 'Automation Skills' tie together other Skills: Prompt Skills, Task Skills, and Integration Skills? Well, here inside Moble, we have 'Automation Skills'. Each Skill has an Identity, a Trigger, an Action, a Notification, a Next Step Integration, and, importantly, it can be controlled by SPI Scores!

Here we have the AI Instructions field, written in natural language. I describe what should happen when a Status changes. OpenClaw reads that description and executes the change including the next step. I can switch any Skill between Draft and Live. OpenClaw is always watching for changes, but I have a Special Skill that says it can only act on Live Skills. And not change skills from Live to Draft without my approval.

Now the important thing here is that on Moble, for email and SMS, Moble is sending the notifications to the customer and my staff member. It's not OpenClaw that's sending the email, or SMS. It's Moble.

Once you get comfortable using OpenClaw itself, you might decide to give OpenClaw an email address, say in Google, or 365. Now, remember how I said earlier, it's best to start in a simple way, that gets results while you learn. This is one example of that. You don't really want OpenClaw managing inbox emails, until you get more comfortable, and also, until it learns more about you.

What I like most is the control. I can talk to OpenClaw from my phone. I can tell it to edit an 'Automation Skill' for my Sales Agent, using my voice. And, if I want to, I can actually watch it working. That visibility gives me confidence.

And with Moble as my support agency. Moble keeps releasing new Skills, and I get access to all of them. They're gradually replacing many of their old n8n workflows with Skills, which means those workflows become AI readable, modular, decision making, and I can edit the bits I want to. My way. Independently, of direct supervision.

And I am especially excited about the website design builder. Pages and landing pages designed with voice, powered by Skills. I cannot wait to see that live. This is amazing, and is changing the way websites are designed forever.

So. Now, let's have a look at the OpenClaw UI. Inside OpenClaw, I could see the same Skills, this time from the agent's world. This is where, it adds the Skill updates from Moble. Then, when I was inside OpenClaw, that was the moment when I understood 'Cron jobs'. I could see Cron Jobs in action. Unlike n8n, which waits for external triggers, OpenClaw runs on schedule. Its heartbeat is constantly checking for updates. When it detects an update, it initiates it. And, on my two platforms. I have one seamless workflow, that I can control. It's so empowering.

And one more thing. Remember again how I said Moble told me to start, in this business outcomes focused way. Then, when I get confident, I should start to add my own skills to OpenClaw. Well there are now OpenClaw marketplaces online where I can get Skills for free or even buy them. I can use these for other business tasks and in my personal life. Easy stuff that anyone can do like Morning briefings. Doing Research before meetings and pitches. Helping me write emails. Travel planning. The Sales Agent gave me a working foundation and made it easy for me to grow from there.

Ok, remember how I said that I started with a Sales agent, but I could have started with a Support Agent or both at the same time? Well, I actually loved it so much, I added the Support Agent after two weeks and I wasn't charged double. I appreciate they did this for me.

So let's have a look at how pricing works. AI Plus is two thousand nine hundred and ninety per year. It includes: The VPS hosting for one year. And, the Moble platform hosting, for one year too! It includes, the 10 Moble, 'business critical' Chatbots, that are generated by my Knowledge Base, and ready to deploy. Honestly! That is such a Wow! This is a huge feature. For free. I can't believe people were paying 5 grand per chatbot, and now you get 10 for free. By the way, these are beautiful chatbots! I can embed them on my website pages. The chatbots are seriously beautiful, and change the way you think about website design!

And why? Well, they allow customers to finally talk with dedicated AI on website pages. This is much, much, better than using traditional forms for web page conversions and lead generation. Marketers, you don't need me to tell you to do the math here. Honestly, why this has not been the AI Revolution yet, I really do not know. This is a WOW FEATURE! And it's just another feature on Moble. I think it should be a business on its own, business is a numbers game. And this one makes the numbers happen.

Ok. Back to pricing. It also includes a Moble Website design theme. Meaning, I could build landing pages and payment pages connected to my Chatbots and Agents. As you know, I chose the Sales Agent first. This came with Telegram as my Chatbot and Voice interface. SPI Boards configured and operational. Skills Live. Heartbeats beating. This was so much more than an OpenClaw VPS setup. My gosh. I would have had no idea!

Within two weeks, I decided I should take advantage and add the Support Agent too. I bought Two Agents. AI Sales Agent, and I added AI Support. This was Moble's 'AI Pro' package.

AI Pro is five thousand total. Initially, I paid two thousand nine hundred and ninety per year. Moble said, because I was still in month one, I could just pay the two thousand and ten difference. This was so worth it, it meant I now had a support ticketing system too.

And at that moment, I thought about the stock market collapse, we talked about earlier. I thought to myself. I can see why there's the SaaS Pocalypse. I would have been paying thousands a month before Moble. Crazy how quick things have changed? Why, would businesses pay per seat pricing, anymore? Anyways, at least I don't pay per seat for my yoga Studio.

Because I now had two agents. I needed to move from Telegram to Slack. This, is a Key indicator of AI Pro. Telegram is great for one agent. Though, it just wouldn't be sufficient to use with OpenClaw operating multiple agents. And so, AI Pro, also included the move from Telegram to Slack. Where there were Channels for each of my agents, and even a private sub agent channel for Support escalation. Only, for my upper management. Now, when this happened. It felt like a real AI and Human team.

Honestly, as a business owner. Was this ever possible in our lifetimes? Well. We are still entrepreneurs. We might not be the young ones. But this is not the coding barriers of 2008 anymore. For tech, for social. No, no, no no. Did I say no? No, This time. Age is not important. You don't need to be in your twenties to make billions anymore. Just let that penny drop.

The last thing I want to cover is how Moble's engagement model works. Because this was important to my confidence in getting started. With Moble when I want to book extra work there is no retainer. Instead, when I want new work delivered: new agents, new Skills, new chatbots, new pages. I book a custom work sprint. Those Sprints are five thousand dollars and delivered in one month. Moble builds, connects, tests, and launches. And packs as much value into the sprint as possible. When the sprint is done, I can pause. And when the next wave of AI capability lands, or I decide I want the next improvement, I press play again. I only pay in the months I play.

That model gave me the confidence to start. I was not signing up for something open-ended. I was paying for the result. And when that result was delivered, I could take a breath before deciding what I wanted next. That is how you move fast without burning out or overspending. And the five thousand price point is what I spend on a member of staff for a month, yes with pause and play, I don't commit to a salary, AI is moving too fast for that.

Now I also want to mention AI Safe — not because every business needs it immediately, but because understanding it shows how far Moble has thought this through. A few months into running my Moble chatbot, I looked at the analytics. A significant proportion of questions were not general questions about my business at all. They were customer 'My Account' questions: What is my current subscription? What classes have I paid for? What stage is my yoga training at?

Those are not questions a general knowledge base chatbot can answer. They involve personal identity data. And you absolutely cannot feed raw customer identity into a language model. That is a compliance and privacy issue, not a technical nicety.

AI Safe is Moble's solution. The Moble team map a customer UUID, a unique identifier, connected to all my apps and knowledge sources. When "My Account" questions are asked in my chatbots. The Chatbot asks for the UUID. No email, no last name, no mobile number required. The customer receives a one-time password on their phone or email. They enter that back in the chat and now the AI answers account-specific questions without ever seeing raw identity fields. Knowledge from my CRM, my accounting system, and my member records is all mapped securely behind that authentication layer.

One distinction that matters here. OpenClaw is my internal staff member. It works for me, within my business. AI Safe is for customer facing chatbots. A separate capability for businesses that have grown into needing AI to offer customer account support. The two work together, really nicely. Why? Well, customers get answers to questions without even needing OpenClaw to write emails in Gmail or Outlook.

Ok let's recap on my journey. I started being confused by three names of OpenClaw, Claude Code and Cowork. I chose OpenClaw and had it properly structured through Moble. I started with a Sales Agent, on AI Plus. And, quickly upgraded to a Support Agent on AI Pro, which gave me Slack for my Agents and OpenClaw. Added the model optimisation in Months 1 and 2. I already had Moble chatbots, so I was getting those Customer My Account questions. And, now I had OpenClaw as a member of Staff, I really wanted to go all in on removing my support tickets. So I added the AI Safe layer in my Architecture. Customers were Authenticated and protected on the front end, AI was managing the backend like a member of Staff.

Then, just as Moble suggested. All the easy stuff, about me using Skills to optimise the tasks in both my business and personal life? Well, now I understood OpenClaw. Not the YouTube click bait. I could do this myself with my OpenClaw. So, I used the Skills Marketplaces to progressively, add new Skills for my business and personal life.

OpenClaw stopped being hype. It became my infrastructure and way of life. Moble removed the growth curve that seemed to be stopping everyone else. They removed the fear. They got me started. They gave me agents that do things. And, they educated me. And that was the difference.

Well, that is my personal AI Business Journey. Guys, all I need to say, is: I built my AI, with Moble.
