DEFAULT TO VOICEBOT

Enable an AI Voicebot call flow instead of the standard chat input. If active, this Voicebot form overrides any AI Form.

WHAT IT DOES

When Default to Voicebot is set to YES, your Chatbot displays a Voicebot form (capturing Name, Email, Mobile) rather than the typical text input placeholder. After users submit their number, the AI Voicebot calls them to continue the conversation over the phone.

Important: You must configure a matching Voicebot prompt for the same AI Agent (e.g., if using a Shop Quote Request Chatbot, select the corresponding “Shop Quote Request Voicebot” template in your Prompt settings).

EXAMPLES

1. Shop Quote Chatbot

  • If set to Voicebot, it asks for contact details and calls immediately to discuss quotes by phone.

2. Support Ticket Bot

  • Collect user’s mobile, and the Voicebot calls to troubleshoot issues live.

BEST PRACTICES

1. Align Voicebot and AI Agent

  • Use the same or complementary prompts so the Voicebot knows how to handle the conversation (e.g., “Shop Quote Voicebot”).

2. Prepare Users

  • Consider adding a short message to explain that the system will call them after they submit their phone number.

3. Test the Call Flow

  • Verify the call triggers correctly, and the voice conversation transitions smoothly from the Chatbot to the AI Voicebot.
